What Padi is
Padi helps people organise ajo circles, bill splits, aso-ebi and contributions: who owes what, who has paid, and reminders. Padi is not a bank, savings scheme or lender. Padi does not hold, invest or guarantee anybody's money, and is not responsible if a member of a group does not pay.
Paying on a Padi link
When a member pays on a link, Flutterwave processes the payment and settles the amount directly into the collector's bank account. The member pays a service charge shown before paying (currently 1%, capped at ₦300, plus the card processing fee). Refund requests for a payment go to the organiser who received it; contact us if a payment was taken in error.
Padi Plus and Event Pass
- In the iPhone and Android apps, Plus is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) billed to your Apple ID or Google Play account. It renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period, in your App Store or Play Store subscription settings. Refunds follow Apple's and Google's policies.
- On the web, Plus is paid through Flutterwave for one month or one year and does not renew by itself.
- An Event Pass is a one-off purchase that unlocks one collection with more than 30 people.
Vendor listings
Listings are paid for 30 days and shown to Padi users as sponsored. Padi does not check, endorse or handle payments to vendors. We may remove listings that are misleading or offensive, with a refund for the unused days.
Partners
Savings, loan and investment partners shown in Padi are independent, licensed companies. Padi may earn a fee when you sign up with them. Your information is only shared with a partner if you choose to.
Fair use
Do not use Padi for fraud, harassment or anything illegal. We may close accounts that do.
